From being just a simple concept car back in 2007, the Peugeot RCZ is expected to sell as one of the company’s premier lifestyle vehicles and many expectant buyers are eagerly waiting for its commercial release in the spring of 2010. With its flashy exterior and luxurious interior, this car will put the enjoyment back into driving once again.

 

Equipped with a 1.6-litre THP 115 kW (156 bhp) petrol engine coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, this numbered edition of the RCZ gives a first glimpse of the new pearlescent white paintwork.

 

This livery provides a sharp contrast with the roof, covered with real carbon, as are the mirror shells that coordinate with the gloss black of the bumper grille and the brake calipers, the smoked chrome of the wheel arches and the matte black of the 19” wheels. The interior is finished with top of the range Nappa black leather upholstery.

The “Limited Edition” RCZ is available in France at a price of 35,500 euros and will be delivered in spring 2010, when the new car is launched.

Newly leaked photos of the Ferrari 599 GTO show a car that is as sparkling and finely-styled as we could have expected.  The car looks to be a finished product that has an insistent look.

When it is released, the Ferrari 599 GTO is predictable to have a base price of €267,136, not including tax.  A leaked European pricing list shows the car having a great deal of options available, ranging from the exclusive paint job in a 1950s or 1960s pigment (€7,050 excl.

The Ferrari 599 GTO should come to market soon.  It is expected to get up to 690-horsepower (515-kW, 700-PS), 6.0-liter V12 engine.

Tesla Electric Car, New Tesla Car - Electric Sports Car

Customers at London's Tesla showroom can now buy a right-hand drive version of its ground-breaking electric Roadster.

"The right-hand-drive model is our response to growing demand from high-performance car buyers in the UK who are also interested in their impact on the environment," said Cristiano Carlutti, Tesla's Vice President for European Sales and Operations. The battery powered sports car packs some punch, being capable of 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds - or 3.7 seconds if you opt for the Sport model. Top speed is quoted as 125mph.

 

With a pack of lithium ion batteries providing energy to its electric motor the Tesla is the only motorway-able all-electric car you can currently buy. Plug it in to charge the batteries fully and the Tesla Roadster offers a range of 200 miles. Running it can cost as little as 1.5 pence per mile. Charging can be done using a conventional electric socket, with a full top-up taking anywhere between four and 16 hours depending on the amp rating of your outlet. 

Priced from £86,950, the Tesla offers a number of tax incentives for buyers. Companies buying a Tesla benefit from a 100% writing down allowance - meaning they can deduct its price from their taxable profits. London drivers also benefit from zero congestion charge and free, time unrestricted parking in many boroughs. The Tesla is also exempt from the forthcoming showroom tax thanks to its zero emissions status.

Renault Wind brings a completely special take on a car for drivers who enjoy open top motoring. Renault Wind is intended at motorists who desire after a car that is not only distinctive and compact, but also convertible and practical enough for everyday use.

That may be thanks in part to its unusual roof system: while most folding tin-tops get a folding two- or three-piece arrangement, the Wind's roof consists of a single section hidden under the rear tonneau. Like the system on the Ferrari 575, this hinges over the driver's head in just 12 seconds.

Despite the fact that Renault pitches the car as a coupe-roadster, unlike other CC models with retractable hardtops, the Wind uses an electric roof that rotates 180 degrees into the trunk. According to Renault, the Wind's luggage space remains at 270 liters whatever the position of the hardtop.

The French automakers are not announcing other details for now, but it is expected that the Wind will be offered with two of the Twingo's petrol engines, a 1.2-liter turbo with 100HP and a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter unit with 133HP. The French car maker has yet to confirm a price for the Wind, but it will go directly up against the Peugeot 207 CC which currently starts at £17,095.

Volkswagen group today announced the most likely small car Polo in India at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010. This special Indian version of Polo will be launched by March 2010. The hatchback model of Polo will be launched first, and later a sedan variant. The car is set to position in premium hatchback section with Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and Skoda Fabia. Result of finest German engineering, Volkswagen Polo 2010 boasts of its superior technology of make.

Volkswagen currently has Passat, Jetta and New Beetle car models in India. Most of these cars are placed at higher price tags. So Volkswagen targets the potential buyers at lower segments with the launch of Polo Hatchback.

The India model of Volkswagen Polo will have 1.2 L Petrol and Diesel variants. The Petrol model and Diesel models will output 75 bhp@ 5400 and 4200 RPM receptively at maximum torque 110nm @ 3750 RPM and 180 NM@2000 RPM. Volkswagen also announced model called Race Polo for upcoming Polo cup in India. The Volkswagen Race Polo will have a 1.6L diesel or petrol engine.

According to Volkswagen group, aims around 4-8% India market share after the launch of Polo, in 3-4 years. The exact Price and technical specifications of Volkswagen Polo hatchback and Sedan will be announced by March 2010.
